SARNIA – Another Royal addition to the squad.
Julian Concisom (Brampton, Ont.) has officially announced his commitment to Head Coach Al Bezaire and the Lambton Men’s Baseball Program for the 2025 season, and beyond.
Concisom is the first commitment in the 2025 recruiting class for Bezaire and his coaching staff.
“I’m excited for what’s to come here,” said Concisom. “I’m looking forward to getting things going and see where we can take it this year.”
“I’m excited to meet new people, to work towards becoming a firefighter, and to win.”
Concisom, a five-foot-eight pitcher / outfielder, comes to Lambton College by way of Heart Lake Secondary School in Brampton. In the summer months, Concisom plays for the Brampton Royals 18U Program.
Current Lions outfielder AJ Edwards joined the Lions from the Royals 18U Program prior to the 2024 season and played an integral part in a successful season for the Men’s Baseball program.
Heading into 2025, Concisom will be looking to help the Lions replicate their successes from last season, with their sights set on finishing one spot higher when all is said and done.
Concisom adds another level of versatility to a Lambton lineup that has its share of talent heading into 2025. He joins an outfield platoon that features Edwards, along with 2024 First Team All-Star Logan Buntrock and a handful of reserves from last season’s silver medalists. On the mound, he gives Bezaire and company another arm at their disposal, either out of the pen or to start a game.
When he was asked what cans expect to see from him on the diamond come September when he puts the Lambton jersey on for the first time, Concisom paused briefly before smiling and giving his answer.
“A mouthful of Spitz (sunflower seeds),” added Concisom with a chuckle. “I’ll bring the competition every time I step on the field.”
Concisom would later share that his go-to flavour of Spitz is spicy sweet chili.
Academically, Concisom will be enrolled in the Pre-Service Firefighter Education & Training Program while at Lambton College.
