Catcher Jake Noble Commits to Lambton Men’s Baseball Program

GRIMSBY – The Bezaire era has officially begun.

Al Bezaire was announced as the Head Coach of the Men’s Baseball program on February 28th, and the dominos have started to fall since. Bezaire’s been on the recruiting trail since the 2022 season came to a close, and the first commitment comes just days after his Head Coach announcement.

Catcher Jake Noble has officially committed to Bezaire and the Lambton Men’s Baseball Program for the 2023 season. Noble is the first student-athlete to commit to the Men’s Baseball Team under Bezaire’s guidance.

“It’s surreal,” said Noble. “I’m really excited to be part of the Lambton family.”

“I’m going to bring my all to the diamond each day for Coach Al and the rest of the team and try to do whatever I can to help the team be successful.”

Noble, a native of Grimsby, comes to Lambton College by way of West Niagara Secondary School. On the diamond, he will suit up for the Lions after a career at BullettProof Baseball Academy in Welland.

Coach Bezaire is excited about the addition of Jake to the program come September.

“Jake is a talented athlete who brings a great work ethic and a winning mentality to our team,” said Bezaire. “We believe he has the potential to make a significant impact on our program, and we look forward to helping him develop both on and off the field.”

The addition of Noble to the roster adds depth at the catcher position, which was an area of focus for Bezaire and the Lions heading into next season. Noble will have the opportunity to compete for a starting spot with the program from day one.

While at Lambton College, Noble will be enrolled in the Renovation Construction Technician Program.

Welcome to The Den, Jake!
