OCAA/CCAA Drug Education, Doping Control, and Sexual Violence Programs

The OCAA and CCAA are unequivocally opposed to the use by student-athletes of any banned substance or methods in the contravention of the rules of the National and/or International Sport Federations, the International Olympic Committee, and the Federation Internationale du sport universitaire.

The OCCAA and the CCAA is unequivocally opposed to any encouragement of such substances and/or methods by individuals in positions of leadership in collegiate sport (i.e., coaches, athletic staff, medical practitioners, sport scientists, administrators, etc.) or by the athletes themselves. The position of, or administration of banned substances and/or methods to athletes is also forbidden.

At present time, unannounced testing in OCAA and CCAA Championships will be administered the respective National Sport Organizations and the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES). The OCAA and the CCAA in conjunction with the CCES can and will test for all substances listed on the full International Olympic Committee (IOC) list of banned and restricted doping classes and methods.
