On the heels of the announcement that Lambton College will host the 2020 OCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, the Lions are excited to confirm Leo Rautins, current NBA Broadcaster for the Toronto Raptors, as Honourary Chair for the championship tournament.
“I was honoured to be the keynote speaker at the opening of the Lambton College Athletics & Fitness Complex in October 2018,” says Rautins. “I can attest that this beautiful facility is very well positioned to host this event and offer athletes, coaches and fans an experience they will not soon forget.”
A broadcasting veteran with over 30 years in the business, Leo Rautins covers the NBA for TSN as the network’s basketball analyst.
Rautins has been at the forefront of Canadian basketball for more than three decades. He is considered one of the best Canadian-born players ever and was named to both the Ontario Basketball Hall of Fame and the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame.

Leo hopes to attend the OCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, his NBA broadcast schedule permitting, which will surely be a treat for student-athletes and spectators alike.
