It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that the Athletics & Recreation Department welcomes Jacquie Cartwright to the position of Marketing & Sports Information Coordinator. Jacquie is no stranger to Lambton College and certainly no stranger to Athletics & Recreation.
Jacquie began her career at Lambton College as the Donor and Alumni Relations Coordinator in The Lambton College Foundation & Alumni Association Office.
Concurrently, Jacquie also instructed in a part time capacity within the Sports & Recreation Management program, teaching a variety of courses including Event Marketing & Public Relations in Sport and Sport Sponsorship & Fundraising.
Most recently, Jacquie worked as the Marketing Coordinator in the Marketing, Communications & Recruitment Department, where she was instrumental in many web designs, marketing material development and brand management initiatives. In fact, Jacquie was one of the key contributors within the Marketing Department who helped solidify the college’s winning bid to host the 2020 OCAA Men’s Basketball Championship next March assisting with the creation of the Championship logo, bid package and bid presentation ‘hype’ video.
Prior to Lambton College, Jacquie served admirably as the Athletics and Student Life Officer at St. Lawrence College, (Cornwall Campus) while concurrently working as a part-time BScN Faculty member for Laurentian University, teaching predominately Exercise Science, Wellness and Health related courses.
Having successfully completed a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University and a Masters degree in Human Kinetics (specialization in Sport Administration) from the University of Windsor, we are very excited for the skillset that Jacquie brings to our department.
